A follow-up to the highly successful Ageing Asia Leadership Workshop led by Professor Dr Hans Becker in 2011, the 2nd Ageing Asia Leadership Workshop (Australia) is a full-day programme and optional study tour that will be held across three states in Australia that will focus on the impact of Australia’s latest aged care reform on successful planning, operational and legislative opportunities for the ‘Apartments for Life’ concept in Australia.
Led by Nick Abbey, CEO of ExtraCare Charitable Trust (UK), this seniors’ care practitioner industry workshop will provide participants with an opportunity to learn about why ExtraCare’s highly successful independent living seniors’ housing projects (Apartments for Life) continue to deliver high occupancy, demand for new units, residents’ happiness, staff and volunteers retention, attract donors and most of all, an extremely healthy balance sheet for a seniors’ housing development.
ExtraCare is UK’s leading developer in affordable retirement villages and has been successfully implementing the ‘Apartments for Life’ model since 1988. Today they run 3,317 homes catering to up to 5,000 older people across their wider communities.
Limited tickets available! Join Nick Abbey in a private tour and interactive discussion session at key seniors living developments in Australia that best represent the ‘Apartment for Life’ concept. Tickets are limited, remember to book your ticket when you register.
